Bookings

A reservation can be made by phone or email.
To confirm the reservation a cheque deposit of £15/person/night is required. Deposits may vary due to length of stay.

Cancellations

Deposits are not normally refundable.
Bookings must be cancelled at least 7 days in advance of your arrival date.
Curtailment of a stay will be liable for the full cost of the booking. We will make every effort to re-let your room/s and if successful will refund the charges.

Arrival & Departure

Your room will be available from 3pm unless otherwise arranged.
You may come and go during your stay as you please, but the rooms will be serviced between 10am and noon.
Please respect other guests in evening hours.
On the day of your departure please vacate the room by 10:30am.

Breakfasting

Breakfast is served to your room at a time to suit you.
Special diets can be catered for by arrangement.

Parking

We have ample parking on our drive.

Pets

Although we appreciate our animal friends – pets are not allowed at Heatherbell Cottage

ACCESS STATEMENT

Introduction

Heatherbell Cottage is a small, friendly, family run Guest accommodation in the seaside village of West Bay, Dorset.
We are situated a short walk (2 min) to the beach/ coast path/ harbour and restaurants.
We will always try to make your stay as comfortable and special as we can. If you have any special requirements not covered here please contact us and we will do our very best to help. We look forward to welcoming you.

Pre-arrival

Please phone one hour before arrival to ensure a personal welcome.
For queries on directions have a look at our website www.cu4bnb.com or phone 01308/422 998. The nearest bus stop is at the green in front of the church near the harbour (ca.500m). The X53 and 45 stop here. X53 goes from Bournemouth to Exeter via Weymouth. 45 goes into the market town of Bridport 2miles inland. 31 goes to and from Dorchester – Bridport.

Train stations nearby

Weymouth 16miles, Dorchester 16miles, Crewkerne 10miles,
Taxis are available at the stations and in Bridport.

Arrival and Parking

To ensure your rooms will be ready we ask that guests do not arrive before 13:00hrs.
There is ample parking on our tarmac and level drive.
Reception is at the main entrance door.
We are happy to assist with luggage.

Main Entrance

From the drive towards the entrance porch there are two steps (23cm) down and ca. 2m of slightly uneven flagstones to cross and another step (15cm) up+ threshold into the door (73cm) of Heatherbell Cottage.
The wooden floor from the doorway is level through out.

Rooms & Outdoors

All three rooms have double beds and have a shower en-suite, TV, DVD +remote controls. All rooms have a small Fridge. There is access to the decking from each room where guests may lounge… Or breakfast al fresco weather permitting…

Mobile phone reception is generally good.

There is a fire extinguisher in the entrance porch.

A selection of local information is in the entrance porch,
along with reading material.

Non feather bedding is available on request.
